About us

Step inside Heather Cottage on’t Cobbles and you’ll find a welcoming retreat inspired by the Brontë moors themselves.

The rooms are filled with warm, heather tones of pink, purple and blue, with little touches that echo the wild landscape just beyond the village. Filled with quirky antique furniture and ornaments, giving every room character. It feels like a home with stories to tell, much like Haworth itself.

Our front door opens directly onto the famous cobbled Main Street, where time seems to slow. You can wander past independent shops, vintage bookshops, and cosy cafés. A short stroll takes you to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, where the sisters wrote their novels, or you can stride out across the moorland paths towards Top Withens, the windswept ruin said to have inspired Wuthering Heights.

Evenings in Haworth are just as delightful: enjoy a fireside pint in centuries-old inns, dine in welcoming restaurants, or simply sit on the cobbles, as the street lamps cast a golden glow, where lanterns glow after dusk and horses once pulled Charlotte and Emily to market.

Throughout the year the village hosts festivals, steam railway heritage weekends, and Christmas lights that make it feel like stepping into a Dickens scene. Join a Haunted Haworth Ghost Tour if you dare!

Staying here means you’re at the very heart of Brontë country, able to soak in the romance of the landscape and the warmth of Haworth village life. Whether you come for the history, the walking trails, or simply the charm of a cottage that feels tied to the moors, our place is a true Yorkshire escape. Every moment in Haworth is steeped in history, atmosphere, and warmth. Let the moors and cobbles make your visit unforgettable.
